Skills

Graphic Design

I can design anything from a billboard to a postage stamp. This includes—but is certainly not limited to—packages, business cards, posters, maps, album artwork, signs, cards, invitations, letterheads, stickers, t-shirts and oh, so much more.

6+ years experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Front-End Web Development

I may only have a handle on HTML and CSS with some dabbling in JavaScript, but I know what looks damn good on the web. To be honest, it isn't my preferred medium, but I love the internet and am determined to learn its Jedi Master ways.

2 years experience with coding by hand in TextWrangler and FTP client Cyberduck.

Letterpress

Despite the risk of lead poisoning, I absolutely love letterpress and know how to work Vandercook proofing presses as well as other relief presses. Keep me away from platen presses, though. I want to keep my fingers. And even though it smells nasty, I also know how to develop and print with photopolymer plates.

6 months experience with Vandercook 219 and Vandercook Universal I proofing presses. 2 years experience with rolling table presses.

Silkscreen

I've screen printed several things from greeting cards to posters to t-shirts. I wouldn't say I'm a master, but I definitely know my way around a screen and a bucket of photo emulsion.

2.5 years screen printing by hand with aluminum and wood framed screens.

Copywriting & Editing

Not everyone can make the back panel of a vitamin bottle sound interesting, okay. That's where I come in. Or if you already have someone to make vitamin B6 sound rad, I can make sure they're doing it with grammatically correct style.

Video Editing

I may not be hitting the short film circuit at the moment, but I definitely possess the know-how should I want to. Or I could edit a mean wedding video. Either one.
